A direct connector with official account authorization, new-content uploads and checksum read-back. Publisher setup and real-account validation are still needed.

A direct connector using official sign-in and PKCE. Earlier backup contents are preserved. Production configuration and live recovery validation remain outstanding.

iCloud & mounted cloud folders
A local file check does not prove that a provider has uploaded it. The app distinguishes local verification, iCloud acknowledgement and unconfirmed cloud uploads.

Mounted network folders
Use a supported mounted folder. Authentication, reconnection and interrupted-copy behavior need validation before release.

Separate storage.
Clear expectations.
The backup destination needs room for new content and retained earlier versions. Your Backup Plan does not include cloud storage or increase a provider’s quota.
An arbitrary website address is not automatically a backup destination. Direct cloud access requires a supported connector and appropriate account permissions.
